STEPHEN KING IS WRONG

It’s February of 1998 in northern California. The storms of El Niño are at their worst as an artist goes to spend a pleasant weekend with a carriage-driving club at a luxurious estate near the ocean. An ancient force of evil crashes the party, and mayhem ensues.

Punctuated by dry humor and proceeding at a pace that fits the setting, this novel pairs old money with the power of the supernatural.

Warning: there is a small amount of colorful language used in the latter chapters of the book. For the sake of realism, strong words had to be used in dialogue (sparingly).
